Apply for Appealing a Road Test Results

If you disagree with the results of the Road Test for the following categories: light vehicle, heavy vehicle, heavy bus, and light bus, you must dispute them within 14 days from the Road Test results.

Channels

Steps

  1. Log in to the RTA website.
    • If you have an account, log in using the UAE Pass, Emirates ID or Passport number.
    • If you're a new customer, create an account by clicking “Register as individual”.
  2. Click Apply for Appealing a Road Test Result .
  3. Check the results details on the website, including Immediate Fails and Minor Faults.
  4. Select the results that you consider to be incorrect and enter your feedback (including complaints about the examiner's behaviour).
  5. Add the refund details (IBAN or original payment account).
  6. Pay the fees.
  7. Submit the appeal and receive a reference number and confirmation by email.
  8. Receive the results within 5 working days by email with a link to check the details.
  9. If the appeal is approved, the results are changed and you receive a refund of the appeal fees to your registered account or IBAN.
  10. If the appeal is rejected, complete the training and redo the Road Test.

  1. You can't cancel your appeal application once it's submitted.
  2. The refund of the appeal fees is processed within 2 months.
  3. You must apply for this service within 14 days from the Road Test results.
