Dubai Bus on Demand

This service enables you to travel in a smart, efficient and affordable way within Dubai’s major zones where this service is provided. Currently the service is operated in the following 3 zones: Al Barsha (1, 2 and 3), Al Nahda, and Dubai Silicon Oasis and Academic City (as one zone).You can book the service individually or as a group, and travel within the same zone from where you started the journey.

Citizens, tourists and residents are eligible to use this service.

  • 5 AED per trip per passenger
  • 4 AED for every additional passenger in the same booking.

Process
  1. The customer downloads the smart application.
  2. The customer registers for the service.
  3. The customer activates the application after confirming the provided data and payment details.
  4. The app specifies the location of the bus, seat availability, time required for arrival of the bus, and the estimated travel time to the desired destination within the zone of operation.
  5. The customer books the service using the smart application and pays for the trip either by credit at the time of booking or nol card (after specifying the payment method in the application at the time of booking) while boarding using the POS (Point of Sale) machines installed inside the bus.
  6. On arrival of the bus, the customer boards and travels to his chosen destination.

  • The areas where the service is currently operated are shown in the smart application.

Answer 1: No. The customer must pay separately for each trip made by Bus on Demand.
