Scholarship Programme
for the Academic Year 2025-2026

(Bachelor's Programmes)

The Roads and Transport Authority is pleased to announce the start of accepting applications of the scholarship programme for the UAE citizens who hold a family book and are high school graduates or are continuing their undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a UAE citizen and a holder of a valid Khulasat Al Qaid (Family Book).
  • Must have achieved a final high school average of 90% or above, or its equivalent, for recent high school graduates.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0, or an equivalent score, for continuing undergraduate students.
  • Must meet the admission requirements of the university or academic institution.
  • Must be medically fit.
  • Must demonstrate good conduct, supported by a certificate issued by the competent authorities.
  • Male applicants must have completed National Service or obtained an official exemption.
  • The applicant must be between 18 and 26 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass the personal interview (for shortlisted candidates).
  • The scholarship recipient and their legal guardian must sign the scholarship agreement and commit to all its terms, including maintaining a minimum semester GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 throughout the study period and working for RTA for a duration equivalent to the period of sponsorship.

* Priority is given to undergraduate students currently enrolled in their third or fourth year of study.

Required Documents:

  • Personal photograph
  • Copies of the Family Book (Khulasat Al Qaid), Emirates ID, passport, and birth certificate
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Police Clearance Certificate (Good Conduct Certificate)
  • Certificate addressed To Whom It May Concern from the National and Reserve Service Authority (for male applicants)
  • People of Determination card issued by the Ministry of Community Development (if applicable)
  • For high school graduates:
    - Attested high school certificate issued by the Ministry of Education.
    - University admission letter / IELTS certificate, or an equivalent certificate as required by the university
  • For continuing undergraduate students:
    - University transcript (including cumulative GPA up to Spring 2025)
    - Enrolment verification letter from the university
