The Roads & Transport Authority is organizing the fourth transport hackathon (date will be announced in a later stage) at Academic City, Dubai. Combining young talent with Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs); the hackathon aims at finding advanced transport solutions driven through creativity, whilst steering sustainability.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has concluded the 3rd Local Transport Hackathon held under Dubai Youth for Public Transport (DY4PT) initiative. The event, which was held in Burj Khalifa in collaboration with Emaar and Serco, attracted 100 student from 25 colleges from all over the UAE. The participants contributed 12 innovative ideas relating to public transport.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has organised the second Y4PT Hackathon, which included scores of university and college students. Kicked off in March of 2018 at the RTA’s Head Office, and it was attended by RTA’s CEOs, Directors, employees and 70 undergrads from 12 universities and colleges.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in cooperation with the Youth for Public Transport Initiative (Y4PT) of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), organized the first Hackathon event which concluded at RTA’s Innovation Lab in Al Sufouh Tram Depot, Dubai. Attendees in the event included scores of university students, RTA’s directors and employees.
