Participation of 200 Employees in the “AI Day” Events, in Collaboration with Huawei
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Huawei Technologies, recently organised ‘AI Day’ as part of the strategic partnership between the two entities. The event sought to explore the latest innovations and AI-driven solutions, accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, and further develop the transport and mobility ecosystem alongside corporate services, reinforcing Dubai's position as a leading global city in innovation and digital transformation.
Around 200 employees from across RTA's agencies and sectors took part in the event, which offered an interactive platform to exchange knowledge and expertise, showcase the latest applications and technology projects, and explore opportunities to leverage AI, thereby improving the work environment, raising operational efficiency, and enhancing service quality and customer experience.
In his opening remarks, Ahmed Hashem Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA's Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, described AI as a key enabler of digital transformation and the advancement of government operations. He noted that RTA places great importance on advanced technologies for their potential to improve processes, enhance efficiency, support decision-making, and foster innovation across its agencies and sectors.
Lin Jincan, President of Huawei for the GCC Region, emphasised the importance of collaboration with RTA, noting that rapid advances in AI and advanced technologies are creating wide-ranging opportunities to reshape the future of mobility, services and digital infrastructure.
The exhibition showcased technology solutions and applications across fields such as roads and traffic, public transport, rail, and corporate services, alongside Huawei's latest AI technologies. It also created an interactive space where specialists and experts exchanged ideas and explored opportunities to deploy modern technologies across RTA's various fields of operation.
Through such initiatives, RTA reaffirms its commitment to exploring and deploying future technologies that advance the transport and mobility ecosystem and services, enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, elevate customer experience, and reinforce Dubai's position as a global model for smart cities, sustainable mobility and technology-driven innovation.
