Project Description
- Links Al Sufouh to Dubai Hills via Hessa Street.
- Feature two innovative bridges crossing Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.
- It is part of the Hessa Street Improvement Project.
- It is 13.5 km long and 4.5 meters wide, with 2 meters allocated for pedestrians and 2.5 meters for bicycles and scooters.
- The track features two unique bridges: the first over Sheikh Zayed Road, stretching 528 meters, and the second crossing Al Khail Road, spanning 501 meters.
- Each bridge is five meters wide, with three meters allocated for bicycles and scooters, and two meters for pedestrians.
Project Benefits
- Serves 12 residential, commercial, and educational areas such as Al Barsha and Al Barsha Heights.
- Improves connectivity for first and last-mile trips by connecting Dubai Internet City Metro Station with commercial and service areas.
- The track’s capacity is estimated at about 5,200 users per hour.
- The design provides cyclists and pedestrians with a sense of tranquility away from street noise.
