New Bridge on Manama and Al Meydan Roads

Project Description

• A new bridge linking Al Manama and Meydan Roads and crossing over Dubai-Al Ain Road.
• Construction of 328m bridges with 400m ramps, spanning 4 lanes in each direction.

Project Benefits

• Doubles road capacity from 6,000 to 12,000 vehicles per hour.
• Increases capacity of the intersection to 16,000 vehicles.
• Reduces travel time from Bu Kadra to Emirates Road intersection from 16 minutes to 8 minutes in peak hours.
