Steps

  1. Log in using your username and password, or create a new account.
  2. Select the user type and enter the information and trip details.
  3. Review the information, agree to the terms and conditions, then click Confirm .
  4. Submit the application through the Tajeer page for review.
  5. Receive the request number and a link to track the status of your request.
  6. Receive a call from the relevant employee to confirm the request and discuss the leasing fees and other related information.
  7. Receive the contract details and leasing fees through a notification on your RTA dashboard or through email.
  8. Confirm the contract details and agree to the terms and conditions.
  9. Your authorised signatory e-signs the contract.
  10. Receive the payment details and methods on your RTA dashboard or through email.
  11. Pay the fees through RTA website payment gateway or the approved channels within 12 hours.
  12. Receive the payment receipt and signed contract through email.
  13. Receive the driver and bus details on your RTA dashboard or through email.
  14. Use the buses according to the booked date and time.

Important to Know

You Should Know

  1. You must apply for the service 5 days before the reservation date to rent up to 10 buses, and 15 days in advance to rent more than 10 buses.
  2. You must confirm the service request by paying the fees and signing the contract.
  3. The fees are non-refundable once both parties sign the contract and the payment process is completed.
  4. You must pay in advance to the government authorities the fees determined according to the agreement between the parties.
  5. If you wish to renew the service after the end of its duration, you must reapply and sign a new contract, as there's no renewal option.

Terms and Conditions

  • RTA reserves the right to allocate the most suitable bus type based on availability and the purpose of the journey.
  • You aren't allowed to:
    • Use the rented bus for any promotional activity or purpose other than the one specified in the contract.
    • Exceed the bus capacity specified in the contract.
    • Use the rented buses in a race or any other type of competitive sport.
    • Transport any materials that are harmful, explosive, flammable, or can damage any internal or external part of the bus.
    • Let passengers misuse the bus and cause any damage to it, or else you'll bear the total repair cost.
    • Transport illegal substances.
    • Commit any action that may cause the cancellation of the bus insurance coverage, or cause the impoundment of the bus.
    • Ask the bus driver to change the route designated in the contract, or else the rental fee is recalculated and you pay the difference to RTA.
    • Instal anything on the internal or external parts of the bus without the consent of RTA.
    • Add or remove any advertising poster, or else you bear the cost of any damage caused by that action.
  • Passengers aren't allowed to:
    • Smoke or misbehave.
    • Commit any violent act, harassment, or carry a weapon of any kind.
    • Place their feet on the seats.
    • Lean or sit on the handles or cup holders.
    • Litter.
    • Exhibit reckless behaviour.
    • Use emergency exits except in case of emergency.
    • Eat and drink inside the bus.

FAQs

  1. Q : What should I do if I lose my belongings in the bus or find someone else's belongings?
    • A : For more info about your lost items, contact the Transportation Security Police Call Centre on 908. If you find missing items, hand them over to the driver or the customer service office of the bus station, which in turn delivers them to the Transportation Security findings office at the Rashidiya bus station.
  2. Q: Will I receive a notification when the application is under process?
    • A: Yes, you'll receive a notification by email and SMS when the application is under process.
  3. Q: Can I check the type and capacity of the buses?
    • A: Yes, you can check the bus type and capacity while applying for the service.
  4. Q: Do I have the option of reviewing the application through the Call Centre?
    • A: No, there's no option to review the application through the Call Centre, but you can check the status of the application from the dashboard.
  5. Q: Can I modify the application after applying?
    • A: No, you need to cancel it and apply again.
  6. Q: Can I change the mobile number and email address that are automatically filled when completing the application?
    • A: The mobile number or email address must be changed in your profile on the website, from Manage my Account , and this will be reflected in the application.
