Apply for a Dewatering Lines Protection Permit

This service enables you to obtain a permit for utility lines protection which are required to be laid on the right of way (footpath, parking, sikka or hard shoulder) during construction works. These utility lines can be laid in certain limitations as permitted.

Contractors are eligible to apply for this service.
Required documents
  1. Detailed layout on a suitable scale showing the existing conditions with the proposed route of the dewatering line with the proper traffic control tools and all safety measures as per Dubai WZTM manual.
  2. Copy of developer affection plan and/or coordinates of the dewatering lines
  3. Copy of developer building permit for construction sites applications
  4. Pictures of the work zone (with the date)
  5. Construction e-NOC
  6. NOC from developer and landlords (in case of utilising other plots)
  7. RTA pre-qualification certificate for the assigned dewatering contractor
  8. DM drainage NOC (in case of discharging to manhole)
  9. DM coastal NOC (in case of discharging to sea)
  10. Copy of old permits and drawings (in case of renewal).

  • 75 AED permit fees
  • Refundable deposit according to the area (if applicable)
  • +20 AED Knowledge and Innovation fees.
