Al Tayer Highlights RTA’s Role in Strengthening Dubai’s Global Competitiveness

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), affirmed that under the guidance and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE,  Ruler of Dubai, and the direct supervision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence,  Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, as well as His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister,  Minister of Finance, RTA has successfully developed an integrated infrastructure of road networks and public transport systems that has strengthened Dubai’s global competitiveness.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) took part with a prominent pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest showcase for technology and digital transformation, which was held from 13 to 17 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The landmark event brought together more than 6,800 companies from 180 countries, along with over 400 government entities, and attracted upwards of 200,000 visitors, including leading experts, senior executives, and specialists in future technologies.
