Mohammed bin Rashid Reviews Dubai Loop and Glydways projects
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reviewed the Dubai Loop and Glydways projects, two future mobility initiatives led by the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai (RTA). The projects aim to reinforce Dubai’s global leadership in smart and sustainable mobility, strengthen the public transport ecosystem, and deliver advanced solutions for first- and last-mile journeys.

Hamdan bin Mohammed Launches Official Operations of Driverless Taxi Service
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, launched the official operations of fully autonomous RT6 taxi vehicles developed by Baidu Apollo Go, as part of Dubai’s smart mobility ecosystem.

Opening 1km Bridge Linking Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) opened a key second-level bridge as part of the World Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project. The 1,000-metre structure comprises two lanes with a design capacity of 3,000 vehicles per hour and serves traffic from Sheikh Zayed Road to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street towards Al Karama and Deira.
