Issuing A Vehicle Non-Ownership Certificate

This service enables you to issue a certificate proving that no vehicles are registered under your name or the name of the company.

Eligibility

Individual customers and companies are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents

For individuals:

  1. Original Emirates ID to update the information in case of an expired ID.
  2. Copy of the passport or the original Emirates ID if the customer does not have a traffic file.

For companies:

  1. Official letter in Arabic from the company + copy of the trade license + Endorsement of signature and Authorization letter.
  2. Copy of the trade license if the customer does not have a traffic file.

Output

Vehicle non-ownership certificate.

Service fees

  • 100 AED service fee
  • +20 AED knowledge and innovation fees.

30 days.

Average processing time

  • Website: instantly
  • Kiosks: instantly
  • Service centres and service providers: 10 minutes.

Process

Through website:

  • The customer logs in using the username and password and proceeds to the service
  • The customer is required to settle the service fees by credit card
  • The customer receives the certificate through 1 of the following channels:
    • The Customer Happiness Centre in Al Barsha or Deira
    • A courier company for a charge of 25 AED. The courier company makes 3 attempts to deliver the service before sending it back to the centre where the customer collects it
    • Email.

Through kiosks:

  • The customer chooses online services
  • The customer proceeds to the desired service and enters the traffic file number
  • The customer receives the certificate from the printer of the kiosk.

Through service centres or service providers:

  • The customer submits the required documents
  • The customer is required to settle the fees in person to receive the receipt
  • The customer receives the certificate.

Through call centre:

  • The customer contacts the call centre on the following number: 8009090
  • The customer provides the call centre with the traffic file number
  • The customer is required to pay the fees by credit card
  • The customer receives the certificate through 1 of the following channels:
    • The Customer Happiness Centre in Al Barsha or Deira
    • A courier company for a charge of 25 AED. The courier company makes 3 attempts to deliver the service before sending it back to the centre where the customer collects it
    • Email.

Terms and conditions

  • The customer or the legal representative must be present in person
  • The customer is required to settle all the traffic fines before receiving this service.
