For a New Permit

1. The company representative logs in using his username and password.
2. The company representative selects Licensing Services, then Drivers from the dashboard.
3. The company representative selects Add Driver(s)/Female Supervisor and enters the Emirates ID details.
4. The company representative selects the permit type (in accordance with the activity of the company in the trade licence).
5. The company representative selects the institution where the driver(s)/female supervisor will undergo training.
6. The company representative settles the training package fees through the available payment methods.
7. Once the training has been completed, the company representative books the theory test appointment and settles the required fees through the available payment methods.
8. Once the driver has passed the theory test, the company representative settles the permit fees through the available payment methods.
9. The company representative receives the permit through email and SMS.

For Renewing the Permit

1. The company representative logs in using his username and password.
2. The company representative selects Licensing Services then Drivers from the dashboard.
3. The company representative selects the driver/female supervisor holding the expired permit and clicks Renew.
4. The company representative settles the required fees through the available payment methods.
5. Once the taxi, luxury vehicles, and school bus driver have completed the training, the company representative receives the permit through email and SMS.

For a Permit to Work as a School Bus Driver

• The driver’s age must be 25 years and above.
• The profession on the residence visa must be driver.
• The driver must pass a 1-day training course.
• The driver must pass the evaluation test after the training.
• The driver must pass the medical fitness test.
• The driver must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.
• The driver must pass the English language test electronically before the training.
• The driver must pass the psychological screening electronically before the training.
• The driver can't change companies until 2 years have passed since leaving his previous sponsor, unless he provides an NOC from his previous sponsor when applying for a new permit with another employer.

For Renewing the Permit to Work as a School Bus Driver

• The permit is cancelled if the customer does not renew it after 1 year.
• The driver must complete the scheduled training course.
• The driver must pass the medical fitness test.
• The driver must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.
• The driver's residence must be under the name of the same sponsor.
• The driver can't change companies until 2 years have passed since leaving his previous sponsor, unless he provides an NOC from his previous sponsor when applying for a new permit with another employer.

For a Permit to Work as a Female Supervisor for School Transport

• The customer's age must be 25 years and above.
• The customer must complete a 1-day training course.
• The customer must pass the evaluation test after the training.
• The customer must pass the medical fitness test.
• The customer must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.
• The customer must pass the English language test electronically before the training.
• The customer must pass the psychological screening electronically before the training.
• The female supervisor can't change companies until 2 years have passed since leaving her previous sponsor, unless she provides an NOC from her previous sponsor when applying for a new permit with another employer.

For Renewing the Permit to Work as a Female Supervisor for School Transport

• The permit is cancelled if the customer does not renew it after 1 year.
• The female supervisor can't change companies until 2 years have passed since leaving her previous sponsor, unless she provides an NOC from her previous sponsor when applying for a new permit with another employer.

For New Permit to Work as a Taxi or Luxury Vehicle Driver

• The driver must be between 21 and 65 years old.
• The driver must complete the foundation training course.
• The driver must pass the test scheduled for the foundation training course.
• The driver must pass the medical fitness test.
• The driver must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.
• The driver's residence must be under the name of the same sponsor.
• The driver must pass the English language test electronically before the training.
• The driver must pass the psychological screening.
• The driver can't change companies until 2 years have passed since leaving his previous sponsor, unless he provides an NOC from his previous sponsor when applying for a new permit with another employer.

For Renewing the Permit to Work as a Taxi or Luxury Vehicle Driver​

• The driver must be between 21 and 65 years old.
• The permit is cancelled if the customer does not renew it after 1 year.
• The driver must complete a 1-day training course if 2 years have passed since the issuance of the permit.
• The driver must pass the medical fitness test.
• The driver must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.
• The permit isn't renewed if the driver exceeds the black points allowed according to the quality violations standards. In this case, the driver must attend a training course for 3 working days.
• The driver can't change companies until 2 years have passed since leaving his previous sponsor, unless he provides an NOC from his previous sponsor when applying for a new permit with another employer.

For a Permit to Work as a Tourist Vehicle Driver

• The driver’s age must be 25 years and above.
• The driver must have a driving licence issued by the competent authority in the country, corresponding to the same category for which the permit is required.
• The driver must pass a 1-day training course.
• The driver must pass the evaluation test after the training.
• The driver must pass the medical fitness test.
• The driver must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.

For Renewing the Permit to Work as a Tourist Vehicle Driver

• The driver’s age must be 25 years and above.
• The driver must have a driving licence issued by the competent authority in the country, corresponding to the same category for which the permit is required.
• The driver must pass a 1-day training course.
• The driver must pass the medical fitness test.
• The driver must obtain a criminal investigation certificate electronically.

The list of accredited hospitals for the medical test include:
