Serving 7.58 million Riders During Eid Al-Adha Holiday 2025 , 14% Increase from Last Year
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that the total number of riders using its public transport services, taxis, and shared mobility means during the Eid Al-Adha holiday (1446 H), from 5 to 8 June 2025, reached 7.577 million—reflecting a 14% increase compared to the same period 2024 year.
During the holiday, Dubai Metro’s Red and Green lines carried 2.786 million riders. Dubai Tram recorded 119,917 riders, while public buses served 1.663 million. Marine transport modes accounted for 307,684 riders, and taxis transported 2.196 million. Shared mobility services recorded 504,159 riders.
