The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released the comprehensive legislation book encompassing laws, decrees, regulations and resolutions of the Executive Council and relevant administrative decisions relevant to  all the sectors and agencies of RTA since its establishment in 2005 until 2017.

Shehab Hamad Bu Shehab, Director of Legal Affairs, RTA’s Strategy & Corporate Governance Sector, said, “The publishing of legislations and making them accessible to the public is an important educative step that would help the compliance with provisions and stipulations therein. Accordingly, it would serve the rule of law and the enforcement of regulations. In keeping with the overall directive of the Dubai Government and its policies advocating excellence and fostering an environment conducive to serving, satisfying and bringing happiness to people the  RTA legislation will be published through the website. It also distributes CDs containing the latest editions of these legislations. 

“The comprehensive book of RTA legislation is an important step in promoting the legislative and legal education of a leading government entity in this regard. This edition culminates the efforts of the RTA by listing RTA legislations per Agency/Sector in separate and clearly classified chapters making easily understandable by the public , community members, and the business community of the UAE,” added Bu Shehab.
