Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Emirates Association for Management Consultants and Trainers (EMCT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for sharing training expertise and certifying RTA’s trainers, especially Emiratis, at the highest standards of the industry. The move aims to polish the skills of Emirati employees and contribute to UAE’s Emiratisation drive.

Dr. Ali Sebaa Al Marri, Chairman of EMCT and Mansour Al Falasi, Director of Human Resources and Development at RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, signed the MoU.

“The signing of the MoU is in line with RTA and Dubai Government’s strategies to boost partnerships with various entities with the aim of improving corporate performance. According to the MoU, RTA will be listing to EMCT as part of its accredited training partners. It also calls for EMCT to undertake training of Emirati advisors and internal trainers at RTA, track their progression and register them as affiliated members of EMCT,” stated Al Falasi.

“EMCT is excited to sign the first MoU with a government entity and the step fits well with our strategy and vision. The MoU sets the ground for cooperation between the two entities and engaging in strategic partnerships. EMCT seeks to serve all community members and upgrade the calibre of RTA’s trainers and advisors with the aim of accrediting them; which in turn will contribute to realizing the government vision in this regard,” said Al Marri.
