Holding internal events marking UAE Innovation Month
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is organising internal events during the UAE Innovation Month (UAE Innovates 2024), the largest national event celebrating innovation and innovators, emphasising impactful innovations across all emirates and regions of the country.
Driven by RTA’s commitment to enhancing employees’ innovative skills; which is particularly evident in projects relating to mobility, infrastructure, and the future of self-driving and sustainable mobility, a series of activities have been initiated. Among these is the Innovation Mural aimed to inspire employee participation by inviting them to express new ideas through drawing and expressing innovative concepts related to transit means in Dubai.
A novel activity introduced to employees is the Imagination Room event, allowing participants to envision designs of roads, bridges, and transportation modes twenty years into the future and imagine the evolution and development of public transportation and vehicles from the present era.
Idea Campaign
Additionally, we have ‘Idea Campaign’ event targeting employees, university students, customers, and start-ups, which will be conducted through RTA’s website. Workshops will be held to highlight the importance of fostering innovation concepts in the work environment. Innovation is integral to RTA’s services as well as innovative and renewable policies and regulations aimed at facilitating continuous problem-solving
