Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, for the eighth year in a row, has celebrated the graduation of its nursery kids. About 26 children of female employees have graduated from the Nursery established by RTA in 2010 in line with its corporate responsibility to raise the job satisfaction of this segment of employees.

The graduation ceremony, which has recently taken place in RTA’s Auditorium, included an array of events such as the display of video clips of kids participating in the International Women's Day, and the World Nature Day where several pets were brought to the Nursery. Other fun events were also held on the day that was also marked by the award of certificates to graduates.

Since established, RTA’s Nursery has graduated about 200 children, which underscores RTA’s efforts to keep abreast of the vision of senior leadership besides the importance of striking a balance between the family and professional life. Having the child nearby his or her mother encourages working mothers to do more and excel. RTA is also endeavoring to ensure higher occupational and social stability of female employees, and nurture a perfect environment for them to succeed, achieve and improve the business processes.

Keeping with the vision of our leadership and directives of HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, the Nursery will be expanded to receive about 120 children in November 2018 year.

The expansion of the Nursery is part of visionary plans aligned with the vision of Dubai Government focused on fostering an ideal environment for children of female employees and grooming them for school life.

The Nursery is managed in such a method to promote the sentimental and moral abilities and skills of children, and the practising of diverse activities that help their intellectual, physical and social evolution. Such a style imparts in children the skills of interacting with the surrounding environment and individuals. It also has a clear and smooth system for monitoring, assessment and identification of areas for improvement as well as nurturing a thriving educational environment.
