Al Tayer commended the initiative of the taxi driver; which echoes the principles the RTA is seeking to ingress in all employees. “Such an attitude boosts the confidence of clients among residents and visitors of Dubai in goverment services to the public. It also encourages riders to avail the services of the Dubai Taxi,” said Al Tayer.

“The RTA is keen on rewarding excelling-performing cabdrivers regularly under certain parameters relating to their daily performance, safe driving, and compliance with the rules and regualtions charted by the RTA based on the top international standards of the industry. Much emphasis is also placed on respect of the time factor and dedication to the job.

“This felicitation will motivate fellow taxi drivers in Dubai Taxi or franchise companies to make more dedicated efforts towards realising the happiness of taxi riders in Dubai,” added the Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA.
