300 catchy number plates through the first online auction in 2020
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering 300 distinctive number plates of 4 and 5 digits at the forthcoming 59th Online Auction, the first in 2020. Plates on offer at this auction bear (A-B-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U) codes.
Registration of bidders starts on Sunday, 2 February, and the bidding process will kick off one week later, on Sunday, 9 February 2020, at 08:00 am and continue for only five days.
Through offering distinctive licensing plates at open or online auctions, RTA is observing a strategy driven by neutrality and transparency to offer fair opportunities to bidders for distinctive number plates. Acquiring plates through RTA’s auctions avails clients of chances for owning plates bearing symbolic reference to important events in their lives.
These auctions are also of great importance to RTA as they serve the needs of a wide range of customers. RTA tends to hold auctions according to market needs with the aim of maximising customers satisfaction and happiness. Selling licensing plates in this auction is subject to a 5% VAT. Each bidder is required to have a Traffic File opened in Dubai, submit a security cheque amounting to AED5,000 made to RTA, and pay an un-refundable subscription fee of AED120. Payment can be made at Customers Happiness Centres at Umm Al Ramool, Al Barsha or Deira. Payment can also be made by credit card via (www.rta.ae) or Dubai Drive app.
