Al Tayer describes fallen soldiers as ‘a true role model, the real deal’

HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), says that the Martyr's Day, which is marked annually on November 30, is an immortal day in the history of the United Arab Emirates. “We commemorate the heroic deeds of the martyrs of our armed forces who gave their lives in defence of truth and justice. This day is a testament to the spirit of sacrifice of our intrepid soldiers who are fighting in defence of our pride and dignity in Yemen and in defence Arab nation’s present and future. History will always commemorate our martyrs who granted us honor, dignity and pride,” he added.
“Our martyrs, who have sacrificed their souls for the sake of the UAE, will remain beacons of pride and honour, and a true role mode and the real deal in protecting the unity of our Arab & Islamic nations and expelling transgressors who are casting covetous eyes on our resources. The UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE & Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, flanked by his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is setting a perfect example of going the extra mile in maintaining the Arab unity and protecting its territory,” concluded the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the RTA
