Two Bridges as Part of Al Khail Road Development Project

Project Description 

• The project is part of a larger initiative to develop Al Khail Road.
• The two major bridges are located at Zaa’beel and Al Quoz 1 on Al Khail Road in the direction of Jebel Ali.
• The total length of the two bridges is 1,350 meters, with the first bridge measuring 700 metres and the second 650 metres.
• Their capacity is 8,000 vehicles per hour.

Project Benefits

• Reduces Travel time by 30%
• The Zaa’beel area bridge connects traffic coming from Zaa’beel and Oud Metha Streets towards Jebel Ali, with a capacity of 4,800 vehicles per hour.
• The Al Quoz 1 bridge connects traffic coming from Meydan Street to Al Khail Road towards Jebel Ali, with a capacity of 3,200 vehicles per hour
