Project description 

• Improvement works in a sector of the road that extends 6 km starting from the Interchange of the Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road with the Dubai – Al Ain Road
• It included widening the road from two to four lanes in both directions along with pavements in the direction of Hatta roundabout, in addition to ground marking, traffic signals, lighting, safety means, rainwater drainage and sewage works

Project benefit

• The provision of alternative highways for motorists heading towards Jebel Ali Industrial Area and Free Zone and surrounding areas, as well as those heading towards Abu Dhabi and vice-versa, without driving through the downtown area
