Project description 

• The traffic improvement works at the intersection of Marrakech - Rabat Streets included increasing the number of lanes from two to three for the traffic incoming from Dubai Festival City, and heading left to Rabat Street in the direction of Sheikh Rashid Road 
• It included adding two to three lanes for the traffic incoming from the airport and heading left towards Rabat Street in the direction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road
• It included adjusting the existing traffic signal and pavements
• The Sporadic Works Project and Rapid Traffic Solutions Project consists of several operational suggestions to come up with rapid traffic solutions (QUICKWINS) by improving existing roads, intersections, and traffic signals, in addition to providing parking spaces, upgrading lighting works in existing & new roads, and protecting the existing utility lines.
