The Roads & Transport Authority is organizing the third Transport Hackathon from 21st – 23rd April 2019 at Burj Khalifa. Combining young talent with Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs); the hackathon aims at finding advanced transport solutions driven through creativity, whilst steering sustainability. Registration are open to university teams for Transport Hackathon 2019.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has organised the second Y4PT Hackathon, which included scores of university and college students. Kicked off in March of 2018 at the RTA’s Head Office, and it was attended by RTA’s CEOs, Directors, employees and 70 undergrads from 12 universities and colleges.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in cooperation with the Youth for Public Transport Initiative (Y4PT) of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), organized the first Hackathon event which concluded at RTA’s Innovation Lab in Al Sufouh Tram Depot, Dubai. Attendees in the event included scores of university students, RTA’s directors and employees.
