The transport nerve centre of Dubai

A unique centre which controls and integrates all existing and future modes of transport whilst meetingthe different transportation challenges of the Emirate.

The Enterprise Command & Control Centre (EC ³) is one of the largest and most modern control centres in the world. What sets it apart is the use of intelligent technologies and its ability to achieve integration and control of all means of public transportation. This includes Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, Taxis and Traffic Systems Control Centres.

(EC ³) is fully equipped to manage mobility; to tackle various transportation challenges of the Emirate; and to meet the requirements of hosting Expo 2020.

Dedicated to making Dubai the ‘Smartest City’ globally, the centre aims to achieve leadership and excellence by managing the mobility systems of the city as well as organising and hosting international events. The centre will contribute mainly in the management and organisation of movement through exhibitions and important events in the Emirate, especially the Expo 2020.

(EC ³) will take central decisions for all means of transportation. Support strategic transport and integration planning functions with the authority’s main systems. And also, enhance coordination and communication with the various control centres. Using artificial intelligence, the centre will speed up the response time to accidents and crises and even empower self-driving transportation in the near future.
