The new service begins on 15 April 2024.
There are now 2 direct routes on the Red Line. One for trains going from centrepoint station towards Expo 2020 station; for a seamless commute to your destination between The Gardens and Expo 2020 stations*. After each train in this route, a train for the second route arrives at the same platform. These trains going from centrepoint station towards UAE Exchange station; for seamless commute to any destination between Ibn Battuta and UAE Exchange stations. Without changing trains at Jabal Ali station. Please check the Metro display screens to ensure you board the right train.
*If your destination falls between centrepoint and Jabal Ali stations, you can board any of those trains.
